Norfolk Master Gardeners gets ready to launch at May food festival

This exciting new programme launched August 2010 in partnership with Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse (Norfolk County Council). It’s managed by Garden Organic and supported by the Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food scheme and Sheepdrove Trust.

We’re looking forward to training out first volunteer Master Gardeners in September 2010. They’ll soon be out and about across Norfolk acting as food growing ambassadors in their local neighbourhoods.

Master Gardeners promote the benefits of growing your own food, providing advice and hands-on support to households and the wider community. They’re actively supported by volunteer co-ordinator, Gabbie Joyce and local programme partners.
